Meet Your Guide: Anitra Lahiri
Hello! I’m Anitra Lahiri, a registered yoga teacher (ERYT-500).
I don’t see myself as a healer — I see you as the healer. My role is simply to help you reconnect with the wisdom, strength, and healing that already exist within you. Whether you're dealing with stress, grief, recovery, or personal transformation, I offer a nonjudgmental, compassionate, and deeply intuitive space where you can explore your path to healing and inner peace.
A descendant of Lahiri Mahasaya, a revered yogi from India and a key figure in the Kriya Yoga tradition, I’ve been practicing and studying yoga for over 30 years.
Certs and Qualifications
I’m a registered yoga teacher and have certifications and degrees in:
∙ 500-Hour Yoga Teacher Training (RYT-500)
∙ Yin Yoga
∙ Prenatal Yoga
∙ Reiki Levels I and II
∙ Smart Recovery Facilitator Training
∙ Over 1,200 yoga teaching hours (ERYT-200)
∙ End-of-Life Doula (INELDA-trained)
∙ Bachelor’s degree in English from NYU
We can only teach well what we know well. Although the certifications and my bachelor’s degree from NYU are helpful, it’s life experience with bipolar disorder that has granted me the wisdom to support others in using yoga as a tool for healing.
When I’m not doing yoga-related activities, you can find me spending time with my sweet family, volunteering at animal shelters, or writing.
🤍 Healing begins with a single step.
